Heath & Hampstead Society - Guided Walk of Hampstead’s Historic Plaques: Lower Hampstead

A guided walk organised by The Heath and Hampstead Society, lead by Carol Seigel, historian, curator, and member of the HHS Plaque Panel.

The Society is hosting a historic plaque walk through and around Hampstead Village to discover where some of its most famous residents lived and worked. They are commemorated by the English Heritage blue plaques and the black oval plaques of the Society, some of which are on Hampstead’s landmark buildings.

You will explore the village from Burgh House down to Downshire Hill, the High Street and the surrounding streets.

Please note that unlike other Society Walks, this will be a paid walk, payable by cash or credit card at the start of the walk. The cost will be £10. To reserve your place(s). please email the Society on events@HeathandHampstead.org.uk.

The walk start and end point will be Burgh House.
