We are once more holding photo competitions this summer! Take part for a chance to be featured in the official 2026 Hampstead Heath Calendar, as well as a Hampstead Heath photo exhibition in late 2025.

Calendar Competition - adults

We’re looking for amazing photos that celebrate our little patch of countryside in London. The photos should tell a story, maybe focusing on people enjoying the Heath, interacting with our green spaces and their wild inhabitants.

Take part for a chance to be featured in the official 2026 Hampstead Heath calendar.

The winning entries and up to 10 runner up photos will be included in a Hampstead Heath photo exhibition in late 2025.

The overall winning photo will receive a £50 cash prize.

Young persons’ photo competition

If you are under 18, take part in our young persons’ competition:

  1. Get your parent or guardian to email us with your photos by clicking below (up to three per person) by midnight on Sunday 25th August

  2. Scroll down for full T&Cs.

The winner of the youth competition will receive a £30 cash prize.

The competition winner and up to 10 runners up will have their photos included in a Hampstead Heath photo exhibition in late 2025 .

Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry to the competition is free

  2. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

  3. Each entrant may submit up to three photographs

  4. You must have full copyright for the photo, i.e. you must have taken the photo

  5. Photos should be in landscape format i.e. as a television screen displays

  6. Files should be large jpeg or tiff to print up to 30 x 20 cm.

  7. Photos should be a landscape view, a wildlife photo or a photo of people enjoying the Heath

  8. Photos including identifiable individuals who have not given their consent may be disqualified

  9. All photos must have been taken on Hampstead Heath

  10. Photos should be sharp and correctly exposed (no overblown highlights)

  11. No responsibility can be accepted for any entries not received for any reason whatsoever.

  12. By submitting your entry, you agree to Heath Hands and its partners using your photo in a photo exhibition, in the Hampstead Heath calendar (for the winning entry/entries of the adult competition) and in wider communications including social media, newsletters, website and any other communications that might be relevant and to any prints of the photos being sold to cover costs involved.

  13. If shortlisted as a winner, you agree to us using your name (or that of your child for the youth competition) in communications about the competition.

The deadline for submissions is midnight on Sunday 25th August 2025.

Photos will be reviewed by our panel of judges and the winner will be selected by midnight on Friday 6th September and the winner and runners up notified by email.

Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current (UK) data protection legislation and in accordance with our Data Protection and Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice.
