Sheep grazing on the Extension

  • Hampstead Heath Extension London, England, NW11 United Kingdom (map)

The sheep have gone home now but click here to find out more about the project, why the sheep came to the Heath and what happens next.

Sheep are returning to Hampstead Heath in 2023 as part of a partnership project between the City of London, the Heath and Hampstead Society and Heath Hands.

The sheep (on loan from Mudchute City Farm) will be out every day from 11th-18th September from around 8am to 7.30pm (later start on Monday 11th when the sheep arrive!).

Come along to see them and chat to volunteers from Heath Hands and the Heath and Hampstead Society about conservation grazing on the Heath.

The enclosure where the sheep will be grazing can be found here.
