Sheep grazing on the Extension

  • Hampstead Heath Extension London, England, NW11 United Kingdom (map)

Sheep are returning to Hampstead Heath in 2026 as part of a partnership project between the City of London and the Heath and Hampstead Society.

The sheep (on loan from Mudchute City Farm) will be out every day from 29th May-7th June from around 8am to 7.30pm (later start on Friday 29th when the sheep arrive!).

Come along to see them and chat to volunteers about conservation grazing on the Heath.

The enclosure where the sheep will be grazing can be found here. Read about a previous sheep visit to the Heath here.

If you’re interested in learning more why not join our Guided Nature Ramble on the 5th June, which will end with a visit to the sheep enclosure.
