This workshop takes inspiration from the famous 'Ode to a Nightingale' which was written in the garden at Keats House.
Keats sat under a plum tree and penned his famous lines after listening to a nightingale singing.
Children will get the opportunity to see what real nightingales look like, learn about their habits and hear a recording of their song whilst making their own folded and decorated birds.
Aimed at children aged 7 to 12.
This is a drop-in workshop and you are welcome to come along without a booking. However, as space is limited, we recommend booking in advance to guarantee entry. There may be a short wait at busy times.
This event and any associated ticketing and personal data capture is managed directly by the City of London Corporation. Tickets can be booked via their webiste here.
