Some facts about Queen’s Park

  • Established in 1879 as part of the Royal Agricultural Society's International Exhibition and inaugurated by Queen Victoria, the Park was designed by Alexander McKenzie in 1889 and is managed by the City of London Corporation as a charity.

  • The Park includes many public amenities, including a bandstand, playground, pitch and putt and children’s farm. More information on the City of London’s website.

  • In 2026, Heath Hands and the Queen’s Park team are launching a new programme of volunteering, wildlife monitoring and nature activities, Queen’s Greens.
